टेस्ला कंपनी के मालिक एलन मस्क के ट्विटर चीफ बनते ही कर्मचारियों के बुरे दिन आ गए हैं। भारत समेत कई देशों में ट्विटर में काम करने वाले अधिकारियों कर्मचारियों की छटनी शुरू हो गई है। वहीं भारत में भी इसका बड़ा असर हुआ है। ट्विटर ने शुक्रवार को भारत में बड़े पैमाने पर छंटनी का एलान किया है। कर्मचारियों की संख्या में कटौती से इंजीनियरों सहित कंपन में अन्य सभी कार्यक्षेत्रों में काम करने वाले इससे प्रभावित हुए हैं। सूत्रों ने बताया कि ट्विटर ने भारत में मार्केटिंग और कम्युनिकेशन विभाग को पूरी तरह से बर्खास्त कर दिया है। सूत्रों ने कहा कि सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म के नए मालिक एलोन मस्क द्वारा ट्विटर की आर्थिक स्थिति को ठीक करने और 44 बिलियन डॉलर के इसके अधिग्रहण को व्यवहारिक बनाने के लिए दुनिया भर में कर्मचारियों की संख्या में कटौती की है। बता दें कि पिछले दिनों ट्विटर को खरीदने के बाद एलन मस्क ने भारतीय मूल के सीईओ पराग अग्रवाल को तत्काल प्रभाव से नौकरी से निकाल दिया था।
